Safety related to COVID-19

Since we recently reopened our clinics in Loveland and Sterling, we know patients are concerned about safety. We get a lot of questions about what types of measures we are taking to keep patients safe in this environment. We have addressed these concerns by implementing new and enhanced safety clinic procedures.

The following is a summary of our new COVID-related safety protocols that will be in effect when you visit our clinics. We are following all CDC recommendations for keeping patients and staff safe as we operate during this time.

COVID-19 Safety Enhancements for Appointments

  • All patients and staff members are required to wear face masks in the office at all times. Providers must also wear eye shields and gloves during any procedures.

  • The number of people in the clinic at one time is limited. If at all possible, we ask that Patients come alone to their appointment.

  • The waiting area has limited seating, and we ask that Patients don't sit next to each other. This may necessitate patients waiting in their cars at busy times.

  • When possible, we are staggering patient appointment times. You will likely be the only patient in the waiting area when you arrive.

  • All patients are pre-screened with several health questions and a temperature check before entering the clinic. If pre-screening detects any signs of illness, the patient receives advice for possible medical treatment, and the appointment is rescheduled.

  • All medical and office staff is screened daily for fevers and additional signs of COVID-19 illness before they are cleared to work or meet with patients.

  • All communal clinic spaces are cleaned every hour with CDC-approved cleaning products, and all surfaces are disinfected with CDC-approved disinfecting agents after each patient visit.

  • Patients and staff are reminded to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day and after your visit.

If you feel uncomfortable coming into the office, you can reschedule or cancel your appointment. We are also available for Telehealth appointments for patients who are unable to go into the clinic. Many conditions can be treated with Telehealth easily from the security of your own home. Please call or email our office if you have any additional questions.
