Dr. Ammon J. Larsen

  • Has successfully diagnosed and treated over 5,000 skin cancers since joining Loveland, Colorado, in July 2017.

  • Received his medical degree at the Penn State College of Medicine in 2013, where he finished #1 academically in his medical school class.

Dr. Ammon Larsen is a board-certified Dermatologist that specializes in a wide variety of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology at Monarch Dermatology & Surgery. These treatments include skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and several other pigmentary, inflammatory, and complex cutaneous disorders.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a Research Fellow for the American Heart Association while at Utah State University.

Dr. Larsen received his medical training at the Penn State College of Medicine, where he graduated top in his class and received multiple other awards.

He completed his Dermatology residency training at the University of Connecticut, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He is the author of multiple publications in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology and an author for the Derm In-Review Study Guide published in 2019. He has given multiple lectures and presentations in Dermatology at the University of Connecticut and the American Academy of Dermatology annual meetings.

Dr. Larsen is excited to continue providing excellent, up-to-date Dermatologic care for his patients in Northern Colorado.
